Bakary Diarra was born
in 1974 in Djibasso, a village north of Burkina Faso. He comes
from a family of griots, Bakary perpetuates the great Manding
music, like his father and grand father. His school training
was weddings, baptisms and traditional festivals. With this
experience, he mastered the traditional instruments: the balafon,
djembe, dum-dum, bara
